Bras & Boobs :)

Well, we all know what those are :) We all have boobs (even men) but not everyone needs a bra for them.
So in this post...let's focus on women and bras. Girls and bras sound nicer but we are about inclusion....so women and bras it is.
Boobs are a very important part of our anatomy. The relationship with our boobs is mostly complicated but with time and age we come to love them and appreciate them as they are (even as we wear push up bras)....we still appreciate them. I call mine my girls because that's what they are; and I love them...most of the time anyway.
These girls come in sizes. Most are sisters, not twins. There are never two that are alike, never. One is always bigger or tilted further away than the other one; one is happier and more fulfilled with life than the other one, sometimes one is introverted and needs more nudging to be stimulated while the other one is always ready to party...you get the picture ;)

So, then comes the hardest part; bras. Ask any lady the size of their bras and most will have no idea what their bra size is, despite buying and wearing them for years. These underclothes are key in any outfit and how comfortable or sexy someone will feel throughout their day. You can have two same size bras but I assure you, the fit will be different. One will have the cups too small, the straps too tight or the straps too thin...or something else just not right :(

Finding a perfect bra is like finding a soulmate, I am not kidding. You will ride and die with this one. You will wear and wash so many times while all the other ten or so bras sit pretty in the drawer, forgotten until your favourite bra doesn't dry and you have to grumpily wear a different one.

Also, the favourite bra is so washed out and not ideal for dates. This means during most dates when we are in those pretty lacy underwears, we are so uncomfortable!!!....not always, but mostly. Have you ever noticed how a shoe that is not worn regularly seems ill-fitting, this goes for these precious garments too. Lucky is the woman who has three or more favourite ones to switch throughout the week. The rest of us wear one over and over again until it tears or fades and your sister/friend secretly throws it away (my last favourite was left at home over the December holidays because my mother could not allow it to come back to the city). Fair enough, it was old, faded and dearly loved. I am yet to find a replacement :(
So, I am on the road to finding another soul mate. Of course, I have an almost favourite, but it has failed on so many levels that four months down the line I have concluded it will never be 'my precious'. I pray and hope that one of these fine days I will come across a well-fitting BLACK bra that I can lean on for the coming months.....oooh....the comfort!!! :) :)

Nice one
